Save the date and call for papers, IRO Sydney Seminar, Wednesday 14 June 2023

The Independent Review Office (IRO) is hosting our Annual Sydney Seminar on Wednesday 14 June 2023 between 10am and 3pm at Aerial UTS Function Centre in Ultimo, Sydney.

Feedback from our most recent Sydney Seminar included a recommendation that we ask practitioners and others working in personal injury to present to their colleagues at the Seminar.

We are acting on this feedback by calling for expressions of interest in presenting a paper at the IRO Sydney Seminar.

Information about the Seminars

IRO Sydney Seminar is aimed at those working in workers compensation and motor accident injury compensation. Attendees at the Seminar include lawyers, insurance staff, employer staff, service providers (including rehabilitation and treatment providers) and public sector agencies.

IRO Sydney Seminar has over 200 participants attending in person, and approximately 500 via a live stream. The Seminar is also recorded, and receives about 1000 views over a twelve (12) month period.

What we need from you

If you are interested in presenting at an IRO Regional Seminar, please provide an expression of interest, no later than Friday 17 March 2023.

Your topic should relate to issues relevant to the NSW workers compensation and/or motor accident injury compensation schemes, and be of interest and value to those working in the schemes.

Please include the following information in your expression of interest:

  • your name and the organisation you work for
