8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)

The IRO will close at 3pm on Friday, 20 December 2024 and re-open for full services at 8.30am on Monday, 6 January 2025.  The Independent Legal Assistance and Review Service will not be available during this entire period. A reduced Solutions service will operate on December 23, 24, 30, 31 and January 2 and 3 to assist injured persons with complaints requiring an immediate response.  The team at IRO wish you a restful and safe end to 2024 and an optimistic start to the New Year.

Information for non-English speakers and interpreter service

If English is not your first language you can contact us through the Telephone Interpreter Service (TIS) on 131 450. Interpreters can be arranged by the IRO to discuss a complaint or TIS will organise for an interpreter in your language to be on the telephone when you contact us. TIS is a free and confidential service.
